How cool can you get?

Not only for the little man in your life either……Little BMX is also available in pink!

Attention Mums & Dads!

Why not give your child a head start with one of these special edition Little BMX balance-bikes?

How it works

Firstly, your child will walk along on the bike just as they would a hobby horse. Soon they will be running & turning on the bike as they gain more confidence with the handle bars. Next they’ll be coasting along with both feet off the ground actually balancing....this might be a good time to show them how to use the brake!

Having had the opportunity to grow with their Little BMX your child will have all the confidence needed for the next big step- their first pedal bicycle. Stabilisers or training wheels should not be required - balancing on a bike will by now be second nature.

Safety

Kids who learn to balance and become confident on a Little BMX should be far less likely to fall off their first pedal bike ...reassuring to know when speeds will be higher and the distance to fall further.

The little BMX has a brake too- it’s wise to introduce your child to the idea of braking long before they graduate to a pedal bicycle. Beware of balance-bikes without brakes!

Fitness

You hear it all the time: "Kids these days don't get enough exercise". This is far less likely to be the case if your child gains confidence on a bicycle from an early age. Starting them off on a Little BMX will ensure that riding a bike very soon feels as natural as walking.

Age Range 2+

There’s no specific age at which you should introduce your child to a balance bike. The earliest that a child could be presented with a Little BMX would be around their second birthday…perhaps just after they've learned to walk!

Children of around four years of age could benefit even more as they have an increased ability to adapt to riding a bike. Many children can even benefit from stepping down from a small pedal bike with training wheels onto a balance-bike- allowing them to leap-frog the tricky phase of learning to balance without assistance.

Enjoyment

It’s natural for a child to get great enjoyment out of an activity they’re good at. The gift of a balance bike could be the greatest gift they ever had.
